Anesthesiologist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
- The Anesthesiologist provides clinical anesthesiology services and patient care pre- and post op.
- The Anesthesiologist monitors patients while in surgery.
- Care for patients in the OR.
- Provision of General/regional anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB cases.
- The Anesthesiologist reviews medical files and lab results.
- Informing patients about risks associated with anesthesia.
Anesthesiologist - REQUIREMENTS
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
- Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
- Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of two years of recent experience. 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
