Angio-Interventional Radiologist Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for providing interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to:
- Angiography, balloon angioplasty/stent placement, chemoembolization, cholecystostomy, drain insertions, embolization, radiologically inserted gastrostomy, thrombolysis, dialysis access & related interventions, radiofrequency ablation, endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins, cryoablation, line insertion, IVC filters, Vertebroplasty, nephrostomy placement, ITPS placement, Biliary intervention, and biopsy.
- Shall provide review of consults/orders and next-day patient cases.
- Shall provide post-procedure evaluation and follow-up, as well as clinical consultation regarding complications of interventional radiologic procedures.
- Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions that are coordinated within the next care settings for all emergency department patients.
- Must be board-certified through the American Board of Radiology
- Any state license is honored. Must be clean, active, and unrestricted.
- Must have ACLS/BLS certification, preferably through the American Heart Association.
