A Montana Story – A Life in Seasons
The Community – Browning, MT
As the official headquarters for the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, this lovely community is (and has been) deeply intertwined with the native American history, culture, and roots of its people. Sitting on the rolling foothills just east of Glacier National Park, Browning is the largest community on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation with a vast 1.5 million acres. While there, you'll have to visit the Museum of the Plains Indians, near the intersection of US Highways 2 and 89, where you'll find a comprehensive collection of cultural artifacts and exhibits displayed at the museum. You'll have an abundance of opportunities for fishing, camping, experiencing arts and culture, and finding your appreciation for road trips that will take your breath away under the starry night skies, rolling hills, and picturesque mountains. You don't find Montana – Montana finds you.
